Information we collect
- Account information you or your administrator provide when an account is created, such as your name, email address, and role.
- Demo and contact requests you submit through our forms, such as your name, work email, company, and any message.
- Inventory and operational data you enter into the application, such as items, lots, quantities, expiry dates, vendors, costs, and documents you attach. This is your business data.
- Technical data generated automatically, such as IP address, browser type, and log data collected by our hosting provider, and any analytics we describe in the Cookies section below.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To respond to demo requests, provide onboarding and support, and communicate with you about your account.
- To send service messages and, where permitted, occasional product updates you can opt out of.
- To meet legal, tax, and security obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it. Our current sub-processors are:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage of application data.
- Resend — sending account and notification emails.
- Hostinger — website and application hosting.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- Delete your account from Settings inside the application, or by emailing us.
- Export your data from Settings using the data export.
- Other requests can be made at hello@lotward.com. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
If you are an employee or user of a business that uses Lotward, some requests may be directed to that business, which controls its own account.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your information we will notify you as required by law.
Cookies and analytics
The Service uses a small amount of browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember preferences. If we add website analytics, we will use a privacy-respecting tool and update this section, and where required we will ask for your consent.
International users
We operate from the United States. If you use the Service from another country, you understand your information may be processed in the United States.
Children
The Service is for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new date at the top and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
